1. Data controller

2. Website and hosting

When a page is requested, the IP address, access time, requested address and browser/device details are transmitted to the hosting infrastructure for delivery, security and troubleshooting.

The website and info@baanthai.ch email account are hosted by hosttech GmbH, Seestrasse 15a, 8805 Richterswil, Switzerland. According to the provider, hosting and email data are stored in Swiss data centres. Server logs are automatically deleted after 30 days.

3. Preferences and external services

Language and colour choices are stored locally in your browser (Local Storage), are not transmitted to us by the website code and remain until you clear website data. You can change them in the menu. Your analytics decision, its date and version are stored locally for up to 180 days, after which we ask again.

There is no online shop, online ordering or online payment. Fonts and menu images are served locally. Google Analytics loads only with your consent on the public website; data transmission remains disabled in preview and test versions.

Maps and Google reviews are currently external links. The relevant service is contacted only when you open the link. Email and telephone links open the corresponding application. External services have their own privacy information.

4. Google Analytics 4

With your express consent, we use Google Analytics 4 from Google Ireland Limited, Ireland, to analyse and improve our website. This includes page views, scrolling and selected interactions such as clicks on call, directions and external links, technical browser/device information, language, timestamps, a cookie identifier and approximate location. Our own measurement events contain no menu search terms, order details or form content; URL query parameters and fragments are removed from them. Automatic site search and form interaction measurement are disabled.

Analytics is fully blocked before consent. If you decline, neither the Google analytics script, analytics data nor a refusal status is sent to Google. You can withdraw consent for the future at any time through Privacy settings in the footer or menu. Analytics is stopped, the page reloads and Analytics cookies set by this integration are deleted. You can still use the website.

The _ga cookies are configured for a maximum of 180 days without automatic renewal. Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled in our integration. User-level and event-level data in Google Analytics are retained for two months, without resetting the retention period on new user activity. Aggregated standard reports are not subject to this retention period.

Data may also be processed by Google LLC and other Google service providers outside Switzerland, particularly in the USA. Your IP address is technically transmitted to Google; Google states that it does not log or store individual IP addresses of users in Switzerland. International transfers are governed by the applicable Google data processing terms and the transfer mechanisms they provide. 5. Enquiries and orders

Names, contact details, enquiries and order information you provide by phone or email are used to respond and handle your order. We do not offer reservations or delivery. Please discuss any allergies or intolerances relevant to your order directly with our team. This health information is not written down or stored and is not used for advertising.

We do not store customer data in our till or accounting systems. This does not mean that email communication or electronic payments involve no personal data processing. Email is processed through hosttech.

We accept cash, cards and TWINT. We use KLARA for electronic payments. Payment and transaction data required for authorisation, processing and settlement is processed by KLARA and the payment services and financial institutions involved. 6. Retention

Customer emails are deleted from the mailbox immediately after processing is complete. Server logs are automatically deleted after 30 days. Information about allergies or intolerances is not written down or stored.

Retention periods for website preferences and Analytics are described in sections 3 and 4. Accounting documents subject to statutory retention are generally kept for ten years after the financial year ends. This does not mean that customer emails or allergy information are generally stored for ten years.

7. Your rights

Under applicable law, you may request access and correction and, where legal conditions are met, deletion, restrictions, data release or transfer. Statutory retention obligations remain applicable. Terms and conditions

1. Provider and scope

Baan Thai Asia Shop GmbH, General-Herzogstrasse 2, 5600 Lenzburg AG, Switzerland; info@baanthai.ch; +41 62 562 96 21. These terms apply to take-away, shop and restaurant services if made accessible and agreed before the contract. Individual agreements take precedence.

2. Orders and contracts

The website describes our restaurant, take-away and physical Asian grocery shop; there is no online shop or online contract process. Availability, quantity, price and collection time are agreed when ordering. Telephone orders become binding on our acceptance. On-site contracts arise through the relevant agreement or acceptance of an order. Changes require mutual agreement. Reservations are not offered.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are total prices in CHF, including legally applicable VAT and mandatory charges. The agreed price applies. Additional services and costs require prior agreement. We accept cash, cards and TWINT. Electronic payments are processed through KLARA.

4. Collection, restaurant and food

Please observe agreed collection times and notify us of delays promptly. We will advise of substantial delays on our side if we have your contact details. There is no delivery service or table reservation service.

Observe transport, refrigeration and use-by instructions. The business's statutory responsibility for safe food remains. Please disclose allergies or intolerances before ordering. Staff provides allergen information; mandatory written origin details appear on the menu, displayed notices or packaging. Suitability for a particular allergy must be specifically checked and confirmed.

5. Cancellations and returns

Contact us early about changes or cancellations. We will discuss what is possible at the current preparation stage. Statutory rules and expressly agreed conditions apply; these terms set no flat cancellation or no-show fees.

Ordinary shop purchases and customer-initiated telephone orders carry no general statutory return right merely for a change of mind. Mandatory withdrawal rights in particular circumstances, agreed returns and rights concerning defects remain unaffected.

6. Complaints and liability

Please check goods on handover and report visible defects promptly and hidden defects once discovered. In the restaurant, contact staff directly. We will examine your concern and discuss the statutory remedy or a mutually agreed solution.

Statutory warranty and liability rules apply. Claims for personal injury and liability for intent or gross negligence are not excluded.

7. Privacy and law

The privacy notice explains data processing. Swiss law applies subject to mandatory protections. Jurisdiction follows statutory rules, preserving mandatory consumer jurisdictions. Dated 23 October 2026. The version agreed when the contract is formed applies; changes are not retrospective. The language versions are intended to have the same meaning.
